Our Founder: Rustam

Born to refugee parents who fled the war in Afghanistan, Rustam grew up in the UK with a deep awareness of political issues. Frustrated by the deep-rooted inequality and poverty he witnessed, he became politically engaged at a young age.

Our Origin Story

In his final year of sixth form, unable to vote in the 2019 General Election due to his age, Rustam channeled his passion for political engagement into creating UK Fact Check Politics. What started as an Instagram account has grown into a powerful platform with over 743k, followers.

• Analyse party manifestos
• Provide daily news updates
